Norte Brasil Transmissora de Energia SA (“Norte Brasil” or “Company”) was incorporated, on May 6, 2008, as a limited liability company, with a fixed term, limited by the conclusion of the corporate purpose, which will take place after the end of the concession granted to the Company under the terms of Concession Agreement 016/2009-ANEEL, signed on February 26, 2009, between the Union and the Company. The Company has its headquarters and venue in the city of Brasília, in the Federal District, and as a sole and exclusive corporate purpose, the construction, implantation, operation and maintenance of the Public Service for Transmission of Electricity from the Basic Grid of the Interconnected Electric System, composed by Porto Velho (RO) Collector Transmission Line - Araraquara 2 (SP), n ° 2, in Direct Current, at 600kV as well as the other facilities necessary for the measurement, supervision, protection, command, control, telecommunication, administration and support functions , under the terms of the Concession Contract signed with the Federal Government, through the National Electric Energy Agency - ANEEL (“ANEEL”).
